	Detta är ett svar till Kalle Månssons inlägg den 21/10 2009. Jag har försökt maila dig på din angivna adress, men inte kommit fram. Jag hoppas att du hittar detta svar istället. Kul att du gillar vår nya platta, och stort tack för ditt inlägg i gästboken! Det betyder så mycket att få feedback på det man gjort. Jag är basist i Praise Unit och har varit med och spelat in och producerat den nya skivan. Dessutom har jag skrivit ett par av låtarna. Vet inte om någon redan svarat på ditt inlägg, men om inte så gör jag det nu. Bra att du tycker att texterna är intressanta! Vi har lagt ner mycket tid på att försöka formulera oss för att vem som helst ska kunna förstå och bli intresserad av vad vi vill ha sagt med vår musik. Alla som är med i Praise Unit och alla våra gästsolister är kristna, men vi är med i lite olika kyrkor och samfund. Det är allt från Svenska Kyrkan och EFS till Frälsningsarmén och Pingstkyrkan. Gemensamt är att vi tror att det finns en större mening med livet och att vi på olika sätt kommit fram till att Jesus är verklig och att det går att lära känna honom. Man skulle kunna kalla det klassisk evangelikal kristendom, eller Luthersk protestantisk kristendom, men jag har själv rätt dålig koll på teologiska termer och sådant. Om jag ska tala för mig själv så är själva kärnan i min tro att jag har upptäckt att Gud finns, svarar på bön och hjälper mig och vägleder mig genom livet på många olika sätt. Och eftersom jag fått erfara att han kan vända de mest hopplösa situationer till något fantastiskt så känner jag att min uppgift i livet är att berätta om honom för andra. Ett exempel på vad Gud kan göra är vad jag försökt berätta om i låten "Be That Someone" på The Mission Field. Den handlar om en kvinna som jag träffade i Klara Kyrka i Stockholm för några år sedan. Hon berättade om sitt liv och jag blev så tagen av hennes livsberättelse att jag fick inspiration till den texten. Om du är intresserad så kan jag berätta hennes historia... Hör av dig om du har några frågor rörande musik, vår nya skiva, tron, eller vad som helst. Jag har inte alla svaren, men har säkert något som kan vara intressant att snacka vidare om. 	Dear Joakim, yesterday in Wuppertal you might have observed an occasional giggle during the Shabach song. Want to know why? There is a bavarian story (from the twenties)about a man from Munich who goes to heaven and is supposed to sing Hosianna and Halleluja all day long. As he would very much more like to go to the Hofbräuhaus to have a beer he gets angry and sings "Luja, luja sog I". So when you wanted us to respond to your "Hale" with out "Luja" some singers remembered this well known story. Have a look at the video and see for yourself. 	Hej Praise Unit!Det är Saartje från Tyskland och jag har tittat på er på GospelKirchentag 2006 i Duesseldorf und på Kirchentag 2007 i Köln. Efter konserten i Köln har jag pratat med Åsa, vi har träffas oss i Duesseldorf. Nu är jag för 10 månader i Sverige som en utbyelev. Jag bor här i Ryssby, nära Ljungbynoch jag skulle vilja skriva med Åsa på Mail. Så kan ni prata med henne och säga henne att jag skrivade här? 	Dear Joakim, thank your for your song "Thy will be done". We know your story about this song and we also lost a female singer of our choir. She died one week before we went to the Gospelkirchentag Hannover. She planned everything before and asked us to sing at her funeral. She wanted us also to sing "Thy will be done". But as the basses were well adjusted and with some kind of ear plugs your performance in Rheinhausen was still very much enjoyable, especially for the excellent choreography! After singing with you that songs I felt "lively" (German: lebendig). It was not easy for me, because of the speed you teach us the melodies/songs, but it works. I have had many fun. 	Jahapp här var det många vackra ord får man lov och påstå. Tänkte skita i och skriva någet eftersom ni får ju så mycket beröm ändå men jag får väl säga att ni är värd det helt enkelt. I listen to your CD much now and I just can't remember that you did "Whole" at Harrys. That song must be the best live. This song "Thy will be done" is not on my CD. 	Hallo Joakim, it was my 3rd Gospelkirchentag in Düsseldorf and I enjoyed it very much. But that what me impressed the most was your way to sing with us on saturday morning: to calm down with your words, get cheerful with some funny exercises and to feel free while singing your songs. When you explained the history behind "Thy will be done" it wasn't only me who began to cry. When we sang it on sunday in the concert, I felt the wonderful chords and got gooseflesh - woowww! My little daughter (14) was so deeply touched when the concert was over, that she ran out of the hall and fell in my arms, crying very hard. Everyone from our choir again had tears in the eyes. It was her first Gospelkirchentag and I don't think it was her last, also because of you (do you remember the songbook with "Joakim 4ever" on the page you signed?) If someone asks me how to spell "charisma" than I will say: J-o-a-k-i-m Thank you for being there. God bless you.
